Gun violence in America has been steadily increasing to epidemic levels in America over the past few decades. Any efforts to contain this scourge are “shot down” by the gun lobby. When COVID began killing Americans at a horrifying pace over three years ago, a vaccine was developed in record time.

There's No Vaccine for Gun Violence in America portrays the steady increase in gun deaths from 1990 thru 2026 (black stitched x’s represent suicides, red stitched crosshairs homicides). The variegated stitching after 2022 on the timeline depicts statistically based estimates of future yearly increases. Magnified COVID “cells” are incorporated as of 2020, their decreasing density reflecting the numbers of deaths over time.

The sad truth is that money and power are valued more than human lives in America.
